Welcome to Merdog Productions! I am a self-published author/illustrator from Lancashire, in the UK. I
have been writing all my life and wrote my first proper novel The
Merdog's Realm in 2003. My hobbies are hiking, travel and Pokemon games...yes I'm a long-time fan and proud of it!
In 2010 I turned to writing, illustrating and publishing my books full-time, working from home. I make full use of sites such as Lulu and Amazon to promote my books. I have done a lot of design work for online educational company Sambiglyon. Free activity sheets, icons and colouring pages for children are available to download. Special thanks to Martin Grover of Sambiglyon for promoting my books via Twitter and other social media.
In total I have published eight books, however my newest three Morpheus and the First Nightmare, Cloud Story and Wind and Snow are available in e-book format only. E-books are rapidly overtaking printed works and the PDF format can be read on your e-reader, smartphone, laptop or tablet. They're cheaper too and there's no postage costs. You can email and share PDF files with friends and when you're done, delete them if you wish! However the printed book still has its place and my older works are available in full-colour paperback as well as PDF format.
